We are aiming to become the industry standard for student housing in Europe. To achieve this, we are looking for a full-stack developer that can help us build the foundations of a next-gen product-first marketplace for housing as a service.

What will you be doing
Our codebase is mostly written in Typescript, and the stack is mainly formed by Next.js, tRPC, Prisma and Postgres.
👉🏻 Collaborate with the product team and designers to implement new features and functionality in the web application, ensuring that they meet the needs of users and are consistent with the company's overall vision.
👉🏻 Develop and maintain the underlying infrastructure of the platform, including databases, servers, and APIs, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
👉🏻 Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to best practices and standards, while also being mindful of performance and user experience.
👉🏻 Continuously monitor and improve the platform's performance, security, and user experience, leveraging tools and techniques such as testing, profiling, logging, and user feedback. This may involve troubleshooting bugs, optimizing performance, and implementing new features or improvements based on user feedback.
What do we expect from you
To accept the challenge of joining us on our race to the top while delivering at breakneck speed.
👉🏻 3-5 years of proven experience as a software engineer, preferably focused on front-end development
👉🏻 Strong experience building scalable web applications in TypeScript (frameworks such as Next.js are a bonus but not required)
👉🏻 Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write comprehensive tests and documentation.
👉🏻 Ambition and a high level of energy (but you are also a good team player).
👉🏻 Advanced Spanish and English proficiency (written and spoken).
👉🏻 Superb time-management and organizational skills.
👉🏻 You have previously founded a startup or a personal project, or you have worked in a small startup before.
👉🏻 You have openly contributed to open source projects.
👉🏻 You have experience with GraphQL.

How does this work
The hiring process will take at most 2 weeks from the moment you apply. We will be fully transparent throughout the process, and we will keep you informed at every step (no ghosting).
1️⃣ An online interview (30 min) with the founding team to know you better and find culture fit.
2️⃣ An offline and async technical test (should take less than 2 hours total).
3️⃣ An in-person meeting (60 min) to review the results of the test.
If we decide to move on with you, we will call you to tell you the offer and we will arrange one last meeting to sort out the details.
